Chocolate or Cedar Fence-HELP

From my previous post, what color looks best for the fence? I used photoshop to doctor things

First pic is the color it is now---redwood--that needs to go.
2nd pic is chocolate that is the same color as the trim and garage
3rd is cedar, same color as the siding

The chocolate needs to be darker, IMO. Other than that I think either color will work great, so I vote for both. :001_tongue:

Should be a little darker now but I will probably even make it darker. For some reason, I cant grasp the cedar color but going to try some samples over the weekend.

I would not go with a darker paint. Stain, don't paint. Maybe you are asking whether to stain dark brown or cedar. I would go with cedar, just because wood typically used for fences would be cedar, not a dark wood.

I would go with number 2, the chocolate, which is the same as the trim and garage.

I think that would give it continuity and make it look complete.

Just my personal taste and opinion.

That's too "purple" to my eye.

I went with "woodchip" for the paint color. It is a 20 year stain. Or, pretty muc the same color as my trim.

The cedar color house and fence would have been too much, in my opinion.

New roof too.
