Chip Brushes - What so you use them for

Theres like 2 levels of chips Brushes. The terrible ones and the marginally terrible ones. Picked up the marginally terrible *2X more fuller* than the terrible ones but they still love to shed @$%#$ . So when using them even as a test color brush, etc....they still shed.

Curious do any of ya'll actually have a use for them. I'm resorting them to use as my mastic duct brush...

Chip Brushes - What so you use them for

Sometimes a crap brush is all that is needed. If I'm making a custom stain, I'll use a handful of them making my samples- use and throw.
Anything that is real rough , needs natural bristle and doesn't matter if a few hairs get loose.
But for the most part- if you dont know that- dont use them. Better to have a crap synthetic - not as likely to loose hairs.
