change color of wall paint

Can you use any household items to change an antique white wall paint (liquid in the can-not on wall)to a beige color?

Does paint count as a household item? Or, if you are referring to unopened cans of paint that you already have, it is possible that your local paint store may be able to tint it for you.

smoke 10 packs of cigarettes a day in the room and in a few months it will be turning brown. i have seen tints for latex paint somewhere.

If you recently purchased the paint the store will often tint it for you, if it is just some old paint go buy some more in the desired color.

I'd get a pint (or maybe even less) of brown and mix it in until I got it close.

no that's not going to work ,the syrup will thin out the paint and ruin the integrity. imho i would go with jello chocolate pudding

With this clarified, if you want to try it yourself, you could pick up a pint or so of brown, the same manufacturer and type as you have, and try blending it to the color that you want. The big trick is that it will be hard to control the exact volumes that you add, so you would want to assess the total amount that you will need, and mix it all at once, so that once you have mixed the number of gallons that you will need individually, you can then blend them together for overall consistency. In addition to the brown paint, you will obviously need a couple of extra clean, empty gallon cans on hand. I am not a painter by trade, but actually did a fairly job like this one time, at the request of a lady we were doing some work for, and although I was very apprehensive, it surprisingly came out very well.
