ceiling paint must be semi-gloss??

Somebody is having fun with you!

As a practical matter, there is something to be said for having some sheen to a kitchen finish. In theory, eggshell and semi-gloss are easier to clean. I would match something like Benjamin Moore Aura flat to them any day.

The higher the sheen, the more imperfections will show. Pick whatever fits your decorating plans though.

I recommend eggshell in a quality finish. Will take car of any cleaning needs. Too much gloss screams rental property..

Gotcha. Thanks for the info! I actually have a semi-gloss and I notice the imperfections. I took a lot of lighting out, and the patchwork shows through. It does look like a rental :P

I think I'll go with egg shell then.

Thanks again!

Just as an after thought that I ask my clients. When was the last time you cleaned the ceiling?
