Question

ceiling paint

I painted my bathroom gray with white ceiling. Even though I used painters tape I did not get a straight even line where the wall and ceiling meet. I have to stand on a ladder to reach and it is to awkward to use a good angled brush. Any suggestions on how I can even this out without repainting?

If you are skilled with a caulking gun you can run a small bead of white caulking where the two substrates meet. Admittedly it is tricky to do for DIYers (and many pros), but when done correctly it gives a very sharp line.

Yep, I'm with Windows. Be sure to cut a VERY small hole from the caulk tube though. You just want a thin bead...just wide enough to get the seal breaker (on the caulk gun) into and cut it on a diagonal.

Incidentally, the same procedure works great for the top of the baseboards too. Nice clean look.

The caulk will still need to be painted.
