Ceiling paint?

What is everyone's favorite ceiling paint? Not color, but particular brand/line. I'm considering BM Muresco, their new waterbourne ceiling paint, Muralo or SW SuperPaint. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Any of your choices would be fine. We typically use a flat paint on the ceiling. Quality paints yield a quality job

I know you all will think I am crazy, but I love the Ceiling Paint from the Do it Best, the Best Look line. I have used that all over my house and it doesn't lap at all and hides magnificently. I have used both Benjamin-Moore's and Sherwin-Williams ceiling paints with less favorable results to Do it Best's.

Really, any mid-grade flat will do the trick. I use SW ProMar200 Flat. In the past I have used Classic99. I think SuperPaint is overkill for a ceiling.

I love the Glidden that goes on pink and then dries white.

Ceiling paint?

Ceiling paints cost less than good quality wall paints because they use a softer binder on the ceiling cuz it's not often you need to clean ceilings.

I never buy ceiling paint. I just use either the same paint I'm using on the walls, only in a lower gloss, or the same paint I'm using on the walls, only in a lower gloss and without an colourant added.

The paint companies are right. You don't need as good a quality paint on the ceiling because it doesn't need to stand up to hard scrubbing that walls sometimes do, but I figure that the incremental cost of $5 to $10 per gallon isn't that much of a savings.

I have also been using only wall paint with a low luster sheen. But no longer just white. Pick a very light color that coordinates with the wall and trim. Makes the room much warmer.

Well, you can all call me crazy too, but after trying many different main- stream nationally available paints, my paint of choice is ACE brand paint. The cost is very reasonable and the results are superior to most any other paint I've tried. ACE manufactures a latex Ceiling paint available in white. This paint can be tinted with up to 2 ounces of colorant... I've never been disappointed.
