whats the best ceiling paint to use to avoid marks/streaks/and roller marks

Hello Dholtz, welcome to the site!
Well there's really no easy answer to your question, if there was an absolute best there wouldn't be as many differences between them all. As you will notice here and on any forum everyone is entitled to their opinion and will let you know what they feel is best.
Ive painted for quite awhile now and Ive worked with a number of different products, so why don't you tell us what you have used in the past and why you did or did not like it. This way we can try and find something you'll have good results with.

ceiling paint


As the previous poster said, we all have preferences. I personally like Sherwin Williams Promar 200 flat for ceilings, it actually seems better than some actual ceiling paints I have used. To avoid marks when painting the ceiling use a quality 1/2 inch roller sleeve. Maintain a wet edge and overlap your rolling. If a second coat is needed then roll the ceiling in the opposite direction of the first coat.

I'v had good luck with glidden high hiding white flat. and like housepaintingny said use a long roller and dont roll the roller dry.
