Cedar T&G Woodscape vs Duration

We have bad peeling and cracking on SW & S side of house.
We are trying to make decision between Sherwin Williams Woodscape stain or Duration paint for our house.

But we want the best for the house and not sure if we should go with Woodscape stain or Duration paint.

We live in Pacific NW and we have a lot of rain that we want durable but natural finish that will help us free from another peeling and cracking.

What is on there now and what material are you thinking of solid staining or painting? Is there anything unusual going on to cause the cracking and peeling?

On houses that have moisture problems, we first check for the causes of the peeling paint: roof condition, gutters not draining, too little ventilation etc. We address and correct the source of the peeling problems. We then power wash the house, prime with an acrylic primer, and apply 2 coats of Woodscapes. Our results have been excellent.
