caulking trim with silicone

Has any one ever heard of caulking stained trim using brown silicone? The walls are painted white. I am aware that restaurants require caulking stained trim. However, the silicone used was always clear. Please let me know if using colored silicone on stained trim is a customary practice. Thanks for your input.

caulking trim with silicone

Don’t caulk it with brown silicone!!! There are brown acrylic caulks on the market that will apply easier and last much longer. Better yet ask at your local paint store about brown water based urethane caulk. It might be available?

It doesn't have to be silicone does it? It doesn't have to be here, it just has to be caulked
