Caulking concrete basement wall/floor before painting

Newbie here, I hope this is the correct place to post this.

I am getting ready to paint the walls and floor of the storage area of my basement. The walls are concrete as is the floor. Its an older house (1941), and in some places there are small cracks right where the wall meets the floor. I want to caulk or fill this in with something.

What is the best thing to use to fill these cracks that will be paintable? Thanks for any help!!
