Can I mix my own color tint using concrete coloring powder/pigment?
 

I'm about to stucco my home, and will be using white stucco with a tan pigment powder for my final coat.

I was worried about trying to color match the stucco for details/pipes/wires/etc, but then I got to thinking that maybe I can just pour some of that tan powder into white paint, little by little, til I get the color exact. Is there anything that I'm missing, or will that work fine?

I've never tried that so can't say definitively, but I sure wouldn't do it.

That powder will likely ruin the durability properties of the paint.

The paint store, or home depot will match the paint for you at no charge.

Really? Damn, I never would've thought that! Well thanks a lot for the advice, I guess that extra bucket of matte white in the garage will stay as such, and I'll be bringing my samples in!
