Can I get away with only painting plasterboard walls???

I have just bought a block home & the paint seems to be fine apart from the plasterboard walls, they have patched up holes n not painted over it.
Is there any way I could make a theme or something??? I don't want to have to spend alot of money painting the whole house again.....

In my opinion, they would look bad unless painted

If you could paint it yourself, you would'nt have to spend more than the paint and supplies (probably no more than $800).You just bought the house, did you set aside money for improvements and repairs after the move in?

Can you just get paint to match and "touch-up" the patched spots for now?

And then maybe down the road paint the whole area when more money is available?
