Cabinet paint color???

I wanted to paint my cabinet the same color as the ones on the tv show, "Modern Family," but I can't find the color nor do I know where to look. It looks like a deep cream color but in the shadows I swear their is green in it.

Start with a white base add Burnt Umber, Raw Umber with a dash of Medium Yellow plus a pinch of Raw Sienna. Stir well, apply while wet. Allow to dry, adjust as needed.

Wow, that's gonna be a tough one, Universal. Looks like a great color, but I don't know how you could track it down unless you contact the show somehow.

Option #2 would be to go to your local paint store and ask for a fan deck (color wheel) and go home and hold up similar colors in the deck to your picture. If I might suggest....add a glaze in the molding portion of the door. It would add a ton of character. Visit either Lowes or the other one and look at some similar cabinets they offer. See the moldings have shading to them, that's glazing.

Thanks. Yeah, I guess the problem is the color changes so much with different light. I guess I could try taking a color wheel over to the house and hope the owners let me in. Apparently they shoot down the street from my uncle.

If you have access to the cabinets, that would be even better yet. Choose perhaps three possible choices. Go to the store and only purchase a quart of each color. NOTE: A personal compliment to the owner may get you a second visit if necessary. Just a thought.
