Bulls Eye 123

Used this to prime some closet doors a week ago and painted over it 3 days ago. Still a lingering odor. For those that have used 1-2-3 how long should I expect to have a linger in odor?

1-2-3 does have that ammonia type smell to it. I guess us painters sort of get immune to the smell of paint. My guess is it is lingering because these were closets that were painted. That small area can hold paint fumes for some time, although a week is a rather long time. Maybe try to get some air moving in those closets with a fan or something.

Usually a top coat will seal whatever is below it. But if you used the old Regal and not select- it has slightly more odor . Not to worry, it will go away, and the stuff hasn't killed me in 35 years..yet..

I failed to mention that the 123 and coat of paint was applied to MDF closet doors. The same primer and paint was used on adjacent walls but the odor went away within 3 days. Thanks for replies so far.
