Bubbling Plaster?

Howdy:

I had some damaged plaster (over cement) along one wall at baseboard level, several smallish spots. Prepping to paint, I scraped the areas, did a rough sand, then plaster over the areas.

Day two, the plaster dried and I sanded ready for another coat.

Day three: some of the plastered area had bubbled out from the wall. Other were fine.

There are no water pipes in the wall. Is the issue the concrete or maybe the plaster? Why would the plaster bubble out?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers!

Bubbling Plaster?

Most plaster needs weeks/months to cure before painting
More info is needed to identify your problem
