Can I get away with painting finished trim without sanding it if I use this stuff? I was planning on scuffing and using Zinn 123 before painting, but I have a quart of the Fresh Start that I used to seal untreated wood for an exterior job and have plenty left. It's expensive so I figure I had better put it to use rather than letting it sit for years forgotten about.
There is a LOT of trim to be done so if I can avoid the scuffing step it will save a tone of time.
yea really ,you have to clean it ,and lightly sand ,all were talking about is breaking the gloss its easy ,just do it .can you put oil with out sanding? maybe why take the chance. a door and a frame 1 side should only take 10 min. to prep.
