BM Aura paint question

Hi Everyone,

So i bought Aura paint from BM to paint the bedrooms. It is a new condo, and there is already a white/beige color from the builder in the rooms. I am using a beige Yellow/Orange color, vey warm. The BIG question is, should i put 1 coat or 2 coats. I know this paint might be different then the others, and i do have touch ups to do, but it becomes much more expensive to do 2 coats, so wandering what are the comments for Aura paint with Light colors. Is it really worth it, does it become much better protected with it?

Thanks in advance

BM Aura paint question

2 coats are always advisable, no matter what kind of paint you are using. Unless you have a lot of experience behind a roller you will inevitably have misses or 'holidays' in your first coat - something that a 2nd coat will cover. It will also make any future touch ups less visible.

With almost any kind of color change you are gonna need 2 coats and 2 thin coats are always better than trying to get it to cover in one thick coat. Now factor in you are going over builders grade paint which will soak in whatever you paint over it so anything other than flat paint will more than likely have an uneven sheen.
