Blending paint

My place was painted about 2 months ago when I moved in. They used a high-hide eggshell that looks almost flat. I was left a tiny amount for touchups which didn't quite cut it for the amount of touchups and patches I need to do. I went to the store they purchase their paint from and attempted to get a can mixed to match. They've done three adjustments and it's very very very close. At what point do I call it good and what should my expectations be? If I look at a spot I'm trying to blend straight on, it looks fine and the color looks identical. If I look on an angle I can see a small difference but I cannot tell if it's because of the roller texture or the actual color. Shining a lamp or bright LED flash light to cast a shadow shows no color difference, just bright white fixture light and daylight show a slight variance.

I'm also known to be OCD-like. Really.

Blending paint

it is extremely hard to do touch ups on interior walls for the reason you have surmised - differences in texture. It sounds like you have done all you can reasonably do. I would let it be for a few weeks as it could possibly 'dry down' and blend a little better. And if it doesn't and it is still bothering you, at least you will know you should repaint the walls.
