Between coats of polyurethane on wood floors, how do you get up the dust?
I'm in the midst of refinishing my wood floors. I've stained and applied the first coat of polyurethane. It says to sand with 220-grit sandpaper just before applying the second coat of polyurethane. Now, what's the best way to get the dust up from this sanding? I've read that you can use a vacuum cleaner, but to me, that seems too heavy for the floor at this point. What about a cloth damped with mineral spirits? Or would that hurt the floor's finish???
