Best, whitest, interior latex?

My wife and I are trying to match walls and woodwork to existing kitchen cabinets, which are very white. I've tried BM, SW, and several others, but none of their whites are white enough - they look dingy next to the cabinets. Even BM Super White is not very white.

The only paints I've found with a similar white are Behr and Ralph Lauren, both at HD. I've read so much negative press about Behr that it was my last choice, but my options seem pretty limited.

Can anyone recommend a quality paint line that has a REALLY white white?

Any opinions on Ralph Lauren?

Everyones super white is pretty much very white. If you are painting next to it and it looks dingy, you might have some bleed through.

I haven't put any paint on the walls yet - I'm just looking at paint chips. The BM and SW sales guys both said that the chips are accurate and as white as they can do. I've also looked at Dutch Boy, Glidden, and Hirshfields. Behr is far and away the whitest.

If I can't find a better brand with as white a white, I'm stuck with Behr .

Can you bring into the paint store a sample like a cabinet door or drawer. A paint store can color match with there computor that shade of white.

I've used Behr paint for more than five years based of Consumer Reports reviews. There seem to be a lot of people who have an interest in convincing everyone that it is bad paint. I haven't had problems and I don't know anyone who has.

If the color matches, why don't you buy a quart and try it.
