Best process and chemicals for deck revamp?

I've used the two-step restore-a-deck product on my cedar garage door before I re-treated it. It did a decent job. The key was that I didn't want to sand down the wood and remove the grain. With this product, I just used a bucket, brush and a hose. It didn't completely restore the wood to its pristine state, but I was happy with the end result.
