I broke down and bought 2 gallons of BM Regal Select 1110 eggshell.

Gorgeous!

That is a quality paint. I use Regal mostly.

How do you like Regal compared to Select?

Regal Select I should have said- the new gennex formulation is great.
It is easier to apply, dries nicer and is a little lower sheen in general.
I have been using BM products for a very long time and have seen many changes. All the gennex products are better than the ones they replaced.
If anyone is looking for a good mid priced paint check out Ultra Spec.

I am sure it is a good paint. But with the price of fuel I am not driving a hour one way for paint. I am sticking to SW 10 min from my home.

Don't blame you at all. I have the luxury of living in a paint rich environment!

I wish there was a BM dealer in my town. There was once upon a time and I used it exclusively. Now it's SW, or Glidden and most of their products are good but I don't like to settle for good.

My father has a painting company and almost exclusively uses BM products unless someone specifically requests a different product. My house is painted with Regal Select and a couple of rooms are Aura. Both are great but Aura is expensive and I honestly dont see a difference between the select and aura although the Aura did seem to cover more easily.
