behr textured smooth paint

I have removed wallpaper and scrubbed almost to the plaster to prep the walls, also room has half tile. I have used the 'gripper' product to both walls and tile to prepare for the textured paint. Question 1. will the texture work on the tile so that the small grout lines can't be seen, and is this product going to cause me headaches? Should I try something else. I've put a lot of time into prepping the room correctly, so I don't want to mess it up now!

If it is a Behr product, you are most likely already in trouble
