Bathroom

Just got Home from S-W and took inventory. I went in wanting 2 gallons of Emerald, one in satin wall color and the other in semigloss cabinet color.
I ended up with one can of Emerald wall color in semigloss and one can of Solo in semigloss cabinet color. WTF. I might consider living with the gloss but does anyone have any experience with the durability of SOLO? I used it in my sons house on the exterior window molding for the anti blocking properties but have clue about it's use on a "working" surface.

Not ProClassic. I haven't got a good handle on that stuff yet and this is SWMBO's project.

What are the problems you are having with pro classic I just went and bought 3 more gallon for a church I'm working on? For the first 2or 3 times I used it I hated it and thought B%$# gloss might be better. My biggest problem was I was working it too much and it would get tacky and hard to pull the trick is put it on then leave it alone. (Old habits are hard to break)

Yep, same issues. Finally added the max amount of extender which gets it to reasonable. I think the All Surface Enamel is easier to work. JMHO.

John, whatever! The point is you did not get what you wanted and ordered so take what is wrong back and exchange.

That was sort of my point, the Solo is OK but the Emarald is probably better, especially if you paid for it.

Sale price is about $5 cheaper for the Solo. I think the sale ends today. I gotta finish putting brakes on the car and then I'll take it back. I don't care for the guy they had working their yesterday. To busy telling you what you want instead of listening to you. Manager is pretty good though. Thanks for input.

When mistakes like this happen if you don't let them know they can't do anything about the problem. With a flub like this someone needs their a$# chewed so they pay more attention next time.

I took the stuff back yesterday and they exchanged it with no issues. There was a $4.55 difference between the SOLO and the Emerald at the sale price. I haven't got any real issues with the SOLO but haven't used it on any large areas yet. I have a sun porch planned for later this fall or in the spring I will probably use it on because it is an indoor/outdoor formulation and sun porches tend to get a lot of.... well, sun.
I think my Karma was probably off Sunday. After I picked up the paint, I also stopped at an auto parts store to pick up brake shoes and drums for my old pontiac. Wouldn't ya know. Wrong brake shoes also.
