Question

Anything to Put Over Paint to Protect it?

Is there any kind of varnish or lacquer that is recommended over paint, to protect it from scratches, a little water, etc? Like if you have stairs that are painted or a stairs railing/wall that has a top to it. Minwax says none of their products are recommend over paint.

Thanks!
Curtis

The paint itself is the protection
If it needs more protection, you used the wrong coating in the first place
(an exception would be a faux finish)
