Any cleaning solutions for getting paint off of floors?

57michele Newbie   Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 5	Any cleaning solutions for getting paint off of floors? Can anyone please tell me the safest way to get both water and oil based stains off my linolium floor without ruining it??? Help!

Scraping with a putty knife (or sometimes even a fingernail) Oops! or Goof Off will work for latex, but can affect some vinyl floors Nothing works for oil except scraping

redline Member   Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 2,083	Any cleaning solutions for getting paint off of floors? I think someone told me that they used acetone for this but you need to put a little on and wipe it off rather quickly. Use a drop cloth "before" painting next time
