Another Question!!

I try to read all the posts concerning trim and cabinet painting, so I'm just asking for some clarification on this process.
My paint is Muralo WB Satin, over Insul-X Stix primer. Application method is HVLP.
I'm very happy with the look and the sheen. However, I'm wondering if the black marks when something rubs against it are normal. Also, how do I remove the marks? I use a "magic pad" for lots of things, but I don't want to use it on painted surfaces at all.
I've found some internet sites that recommend the following, but I've also seen others say it's not the way to go. Why or why not?
"Mixing waterbourne paint and a "pre-cat" waterboure clear finish" and applying it with an HVLP for a "harder" finish.

I've got lots of trim work and cabinets left to do, so if I can get a "better" finish than the paint alone, I don't mind an additional step or two.

What is causing the marks?
How long has the paint cured?
Muralo satin (or semi) is great stuff- you have a good program going.
I have been able to clean marks off of it with nothing more than a wet rag.
But make sure it has cured before getting to physical with it- 3-4 weeks.

Paint cured about 10 days before the carpet was laid. Installers did a good job and were careful - especially around the base. A few touch ups needed, but not too bad. A few marks could have come from moving furniture, but I'm thinking most were from people's suitcases and children's toys over Christmas, so that was at least 6 wks cure time for the paint.
If the wet rag alone doesn't remove the mark, what's the next best thing to try (that won't damage the sheen)?

Just try to be logical- a little all purpose cleaner on the rag.. then move up the scale.

Are you talking about wall paint or trim? You said cabs, but that shouldn't be in the line of fire for baggage..
