All surfaces painted with a brush different from surfaces painted with a roller.

It is impossible to give you any solid advice with the information you have provided. It is not even clear what the issue is - is the color different or is the sheen different?

Why don't you give us a chance to help you by attaching a picture for starters.

OK - This is DIYer site. We are offering our assistance out of the goodness of our hearts... We tosses some ideas and some suggestions your way:

- bad technique - you say you are an expert painter, so that must not be it;

- bad paint - you say you used good paint, so that must not be it;

- bad tools - you say you used 'quality' tools, so that's not it either.

So, since it's none of the above we can only wait for you to give us some more information manner so we can try some more.....or, you can admit it was one of the above.
