603 Wallpaper Removal Solution

I got lucky and I can simply peel the wallpaper off the walls in my new home (for the most part). Need to wet down some of it but it's all off now.

Now I just have to deal with the adhesive.

Would 603 be ideal for simply removing wall paper adhesive if I already have the wallpaper off the walls or is it more for removing the actual wallpaper itself? I think I read about this stuff on the forums here but I'm not 100% sure.

Or - I have seen recommendations to simply use fabric softener mixed w water to remove the adhesive.

Which would you guys suggest?

Thanks!
Dan

Yes to all the above. Nothing is going to make it effortless. I use water and timing. I find most the additives are for people who think it will go quicker. It goes with effort and timing.

It's my understanding that the additives, enzymes, break down the cellulose molecules, turning them from sugar to their component parts easier to wash off.
