2nd Coat on Walls

When applying 2nd coat on walls, is it necessary to do all the cut in work again, or just roll as closely as possible.

This room is large with 10-12ft ceilings, 3 single doors and a double french door, 3 bay windows and a mantle/fireplace. LOTS of cut in work.

I think if you don't put a second coat on the cut-in, you'll notice it. I never seem to get a good enough coat on the first time to not do a second coat. And me personally can't get as close to the joint with a roller as I've seen others do. And as we all know, if we skip a step, we'll regret it later.

You really should cut in again. You don't have to be as exact with the cut line, but make sure you are covering any areas areas where the old color is showing through.
