Anytime, the whole rrp thing just plain sucks. The U.S. cannot feed or house it's own citizens, yet comes up with this complete nonsense, like I don't have enough to worry about.

1930s Kitchen Remodel

@ltd I agree. Now in retrospect, I would have used an oil based primer but this is what the Ben Moore/Ace representative recommended. It is done now.

@jsheridan Thanks. I went with the Impervo Enamel!

Two days ago, I was visiting one of the two places in town that sells Cabinet Coat. I decided that was probably the best option for me. I fortuitously ran into the Tucson Ben Moore rep. We talked about Advance, Impervo, and Cabinet - all BM products. After talking with him for a while and and being up front about my skill level (no experience but meticulous when I want to be he also recommended the Impervo Enamel. It was shipped down from Phoenix (Tucson in Pima County hasnít outlawed it yet). I hope all goes well.

Thanks very much for your advice!

Cannot go wrong with Impervo . I will sometimes add just a smidge of thinner to it if it is a little thick, sometimes.
