Just to let you know, that I have hung around this place for almost 2 years, and if it were not for the wonderful pros and the diyers that have helped me with the basement reno, there is no way that I could ever have reached this point.

They are a great bunch of people.

Wasn't gonna interfere, but since it's simmered down...

The world is a harsh place, even on the internet. This must be one of the first forums EzBreeze has been to. They went E-Z on you here! Just chalk it up as another learning experience and try to see things from the other side.

With that said, YOU PEOPLE THINK YOU'RE ALL- KNOWING AND JUST THAT DARN GOOD AT WHAT YOU DO, DAY-IN AND DAY-OUT, AND ALL PROFESSIONAL-LIKE, DOING THIS FOR A LIVING AND ANSWERING QUESTIONS AND HELPING PEOPLE OUT...DARN YOU!!! YA HEAR ME?!!!!

I, for one, have found the people here quite helpful. I return with questions from time to time, and try to answer what I can. Just wanted to say 'thanks' to everyone who takes a few minutes out of their day to help out!

Much better...don't feel too bad, I get in trouble quite often myself.

OK, does this mean I'm not an elitist anymore?

I get tired of begging for change on the streets and sleeping outside in the rain. I kinda liked the idea of someone thinking I'm an elitist for a while.

Haven't read all the answers to this one, but, defining an elitist as. . .

". . .a select group of people with outstanding personal abilities,
some women have said or implied that about me!
But, then, others just laughed.

nah, and never had it either. Money tends to corrupt.

training, yes; experience, by now I'd say yes.
or other distinctive attributes. . ."

So, using a weighted geometric average and factoring in the

I'd say I personally am less than 50% elitist.

I don't doubt that you feel this way, but there are other reasonable explanations for your conclusion.

Almost forgot! You seem to be employing one of these-

I can see that this is true. Thank you all for the time you took to acknowledge my faux pas. You do seem to be good people with a sense of humor about even the biggest idiots, of which I have proven myself to be one.

EZ,
Go easy on yourself. Although I'm new to this forum, I participate on more than one and I know how easy it is to post something you regret.
This style of communication doesn't have the advantage of voice inflection, body language, etc.
I can see that you will do better in future posts, don't beat yourself up, move on.

Post your question again in here, and we'll give it our best shot.
I'm new here too aaaaand nnnno one said anything about silent meditation and self awareness. What time is that

Well, I generally schedule my three hours of silent meditation and self awareness late enough in the evening that I sleep through it. That way I can dream and meditate at the same time.

Kinda like multitasking.

When I feel bad about the really stupid stuff I've done, I just drink a lot of alcohol and down a handful of pain killers. Then, when I'm brain numb, everyone blames themselves for not being understanding enough of my problems and personal issues. See! I get a good buzz out of the deal, and they're convinced what I did is partly THEIR fault! I highly recommend it.

Seriously, man, if you were trying to offend us, you'll have to try harder than that. It made for a welcome break in the routine of what would have otherwise been a completely uneventful day.
