Womans garage

Ha.

I love my garage. Its my first one. The front wall is painted dark green with many old paintings hanging.

An older repairman walked into my garage and said, "you can tell this is a womans garage!"

I asked why and said, "is it because of the green wall?" He said, "no, its the lack of power tools". He said men love to buy tools. I pointed out my Sawzall and drill but he wasn't impressed. I thought it was funny

He could probably tell because it was neat and clean.

You probably have everything neatly arranged in spaced out rows and dusted like it's a curio shelf.

And he was testing you to see if you are one of those "LIBBERS".

Congratulations on your first garage, in a couple of years it will probably be cluttered with stuff that " I will get to later" . but just keeps piling up higher and higher.

Just like the rest of us.

Maybe because it was old paintings and not pin-ups.?

Is this a garage as in home or business.?

Naw. It was the curtains on the windows that gave it away.

I think this is the main reason, as usually there's a real mess in a man's garage)

You people are so funny.

It's an ordinary 2 car garage. But I also put extra throw rugs out there when I redecorated. Garages around here have sliding screens along the front. I like that aspect. I see some people playing cards at night in their garages.

I like the Florida garages with the full screen doors----what a fine place to sit and entertain in the evening.

Rockstar. lol. Somewhere, awhile back, I read about being careful about cleaning out a basement or garage cause your kids will fill it up with their junk. My daughter is house hunting so keeps putting boxes in my garage as she packs. And these aren't neat boxes. Its a jumble of stuff.......and no houses are close to what she's looking for. This is the only photo I have which was posted on here 1.5 yrs ago, before her junk and before painting was finished.

Looks good to me. All of the my junk is hanging on pegboards / shelves and the cars occupy most of the floor space.

That is a bit unusual for a "real" garage but given your garage is as much an extension of your living space as a "real" garage I think it's fine. I would guess a woman's garage as well since men tend to showcase sports items more than framed pictures but who cares: it's YOUR garage and you can decorate it any darn way you please and that pleases you. If others don't like it, well then they shouldn't copy it in THEIR garage.

It's a fine garage, even with out nude pics and beer cans scattered about. I think the guy was just giving you a ribbing.

If I didn't know what the topic was about and seen those pictures, I wouldn't of thought it was a garage neither.

If there's such a thing as 1000%, that's how much better yours looks then mine.
