In that case I tread on. Intimidated by power tools is a good thing. Once you lose that you are far more likely to injure yourself with them. My table saw still scares me and I hope it always does. So far I still got all my digits.

When a person gets too comfortable using a power tool, look out, that is when it will bite you. I know this first hand, a table saw is no fun to tangle with.

I literally used up 7 of my 9 lives with all the stupid things I did when I was young and thought myself invincible. crazy ladder work and working off forklifts and the list goes on and on. got wiser with old age and am really trying to keep my last 2 lives intact.

I burned down a brand new work jacket hanging on an anvil in the shop while gas welding some sheet metal. Funny part, it was the boss's jacket.

If it weren't for hi jacking the thread, the smoking jacket reminded me of a buddy with a pocket full of fire crackers and smoking a cigarette. blew his pocket off, it did.LOL

Tell me about it. When I fixed the frame of our push mower this past Summer, I ended up with a reminder of why to wear long sleeves. Still have the mark on my upper arm, where I touched it to the frame, while moving the cables from the Arc Welder away.

Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?
