Wives and your power tools

I woke up this morning to the sound of our Snow Blower running. Looked out and saw the wife cleaning off the drive.

I kept telling myself for the past eight years that I needed to get one, due to we clean off both ours and our neighbor who's drive is against our drive.

With my son leaving next year for the university he will be attending, and that I along with my wife have neck issues, decided to breakdown and get a Snow Blower. Lucky the neighbor went half on it, so it did not take that deep of a bite out of my wallet.

Yeah, I hope you did make her breakfast :-) this last Christmas, my husband bought me a hot pink tool kit, it included; pink hammer, screwdriver set, pink measuring tape...and so on! One of the best gifts he's ever given me. In our house it's me who gets excited when he says. "I'm going to Menards" I'm all like jumping up and getin my shoes on!

"gregzoll"

With X-Mas coming up -
Maybe time to start thinking about a nice, present for her!

Instead of that "Ryobi", cord-less tool set -
Diamonds, Pearls, Mink coat...?!?

I think you've already got a "Pearl"!
2 points for her!

We do not do Christmas in our house. For us, Christmas is all year long. We are just thankful to have a lot of health issues behind us.

When we go to my wife's dad's, she is out there using his Snow Blower, that is for getting through the amount of snow he gets up in the Upper Peninsula of Mi/Wi.

She is not shy when it comes to using power tools. She does favor DeWalt, I favor Hitachi too?s.

Electric start helps a lot. Mine cannot change a light bulb but I cannot cook a decent meal to save my life either.
We all have our talents.

LOL! My wife escorts me to Menards for adult supervision reasons.

A few years ago I got a new neighbor. He happened to be from California- we got a lot of them here.
At the first snow he was blowing at his immediate neighbors homes and several Mai boxes after the plow came through. He was in high heaven!

It turns out we had a record 120" accumulated snowfall that year- he was a busy man. He doesn't blow the neighborhood anymore....

My wife is quite good at using power tools. Would not think twice about buying her some.

My old neighbor used to have a concrete consolidator which we joked turned up under the bed from time to time.

I've used power tools a free times. Was quite intimidated at first. After using about 20 mins I found it quite invigorating!
