Winter is winding down---

We had another load of snow yesterday--thunder snow ---

I can tolerate this one, the days are getting longer ,lots of sun---

My neighbor has been plowing my drive for years--his ancient plow truck died a month back so my drive is kind of deep---

Last night he attempted to plow it with his nice new truck

All was good until he tried to clear the side parking area---which is down hill a bit---we had fun tugging it out using his long tow strap and my big old dully truck---

It's going to be warming up soon enough---I'll sure be a happy camper when the tulips finally pop up---Mike----

In N.H. when the snow melted we had the flooding to deal with, once that went away we had the mud, Knats and mosquito season to look forward to.

Flood season is next---we have a big snow load and the rivers are really iced up---I'm a few hundred feet from a river---it's likely the flood this year--

Yeah this winter did suck. With any luck our 3-4 days above freezing will be enough to get rid of it without it turning treacherous at night when it dips below freezing. I got my first minor ice dam is 12 years yesterday. Glad it'll all be gone.

We've been in meltdown mode for a couple of days now.

Today, 64 and sunny!

We used to get out of school early sometimes because of ice dams building up against the bridges.
Gee the good old days, I miss them, not.

Another 20 cm last night and still coming. I'm running out of places to pile it. I'm hoping for a few warm days of runoff before the ground thaws when it all starts or there will be flooding in the basement.

Soon it will block that view

Im also hoping my house doesn't float away

He likes it. Taken on the 5 minute walk to school, despite shaking it off a couple of times

I'm hoping for the some rain to wash it away before the ground thaws to avoid flooding.

Something about dogs covered in snow. Ha. My wife's a photographer, so I can't take credit for the good pics. (Sorry if the pics are huge, I'm on mobile and upload through Photobucket, so not sure what scale they come out).

It's 62f here right now. I'm heading outside to move some more firewood cause I doubt that February is done with us yet.

This pic was taken many years ago at our last place in Oklahoma.
