Yeah it is pretty cool. They had them in Edmonton and it was cold as hell but we are used to it. We play our Grey Cup football game half the time in snow anyway. I grew up playing outdoor rink hockey and walking half a mile to get to the rink and then back. Did not have much talent but it was fun. We are like those European soccer fans and take our hockey pretty seriously so watch out.

What an incredible view of the 115,000 at the stadium. Organizers at the Michigan stadium have done an amazing job of sorting the fans into blue or red jerseys..

Have been in Michigan Stadium many times, but don't recall weather like this. Was at the Michigan vs. Michigan State hockey game at MSU's football stadium in 2001, and it went well, which I think inspired a lot of interest in both collegiate and the pro's. It was on the heals of the terrorist attackes, so lots of security, and everyone was of course dressed for an outdoor hockey game, which slowed down the lines, but they managed to keep things moving. Had a few doubts shortly after we got our tickets, but was surprised at how well we could see everything on the ice. Probably no worse than peering through the cigarette smoke when we would go to watch the Red Wings play at "the old barn", Olympia. GO WINGS!
