Poor Willie,
Thank Goodness he's at home recovering now.

Makes you want to stop and take a good look around. Friends and family are a blessing that are to be cherished everyday. You never know what life is going to throw at you

Willie is a favorite of mine---I posted this before I read all 9 pages. He's back home after a stroke--

Sounds like he's still all there upstairs--

It will take some of Willies time and determination to get back to his favorite sports---

I look forward to seeing your little blue airplane---Mike---

I forgot I was a member of CT. It will take Willie a little while to mend but he will make a good come back, it just takes some time, I had a stroke 3 years ago and I am almost back to normal, if I ever was. There are still some things I can't do but I am blessed that I can do what I do. Willie is strong and I know he will come out on top of this set back.

Willie T.....I see you have logged on. I hope you are recovering well. Best Wishes to you

Glad Willie is recovering. As some of you may know I work in medical imaging as a CT Tech. I do a fair amount of Head CT's on people with stroke symptoms. I typically do not know their outcomes but they can range from full recovery to death. I think the most important thing people can do for themselves as far as strokes go is learn the risks, learn the symptoms and most importantly, do not hesitate to seek medical attention if you have any of these symptoms. We have a saying, "Time is Brain". The current medical thought on stroke is the "Golden Three Hours" after onset of stroke symptoms. That is the window of opportunity to intervene and prevent further brain damage.

Wow, that's scary, and I hate to hear that. Sending prayers his way.

Sorry to hear it. A stroke is terrible. Much worst than a heart attack. I'll pray for him.

Many wishes and prayers for a quick recovery Willie.
