Wife is Well

She's back on her feet.
I came in from work yesterday and opened the fridge to get a snack. All the food was gone!
Remember back in May I had to empty the freezer and fridge because there was no food in them? Well, she and a neighbor went out yesterday while I was at work and bought loads of ingredients and when she got home, she emptied the fridge and the freezer, throwing all the food away and filled them with ingredients again! Aaaaargh!
Same thing for the pantry,BTW!

Aawww. Well that was nice of her.

I'm sure she had a nice juicy steak on the grill for you when you got home
and a couple baked potatoes in the oven....
some crescent rolls or home baked bread...
a salad....
dessert...
a tray of big, chewy, gooey, chocolate chip cookies to take to work in your lunch tomorrow

Unless -
the stake was dry...
the potatoes weren't baked through...
the crescent rolls were underbaked...
the bread was burnt...
the salad was wilted...
you had to go to the fridge to dish up your own dessert...
and the cookies for your lunch are shaped like the Keebler elves with a "March 3rd, 1998" freshness date on them.

Is THAT what's troublin' ya bunky?

I'm just ticked at all that good food gone into the trash! And now, if I want to cook something for myself, there's nothing there. I have to wait for her to conjure a meal from the air, or whereever they come from when there's nothing to eat at home.
I have to go to Mickey D's for a good steak sandwich with special sauce if I want something and she hasn't done anything.
