Why I love this forum

Because I'm the only one if the "mommies" who has a favorite paint brush.

Anyone else?

What kind of brush is your favorite? I've been using Purdy brushes lately, and like them alot.

It's a Wooster 2" sash with a stubby handle. It's wide enough to get good coverage but narrow enough to hold like a pencil when I'm cutting in.

This is my favourite paint bush. But for painting exterior walls I use something bigger
Also, remember the first rule of painting;
one thick coat is quicker than two thin coats!

My "fav" brush is -
Watching someone else paint -
while I "kick-back" and supervise!
(Maybe, with a beverage!)
(I like this place, too!)

You're welcome!

My wife is in charge of painting. If she asks me to paint...I use her brush.

She picks the colours too cause I only know of 8.

But seriously I just use any good quality brush. I just purchased a Lemmer sprayer so I can brush less. Painting is my least favorite thing.
My mentor always told me, "A good painter can fix anything."

Speaking of colors... don't you just hate the way they name paint colors after food these days?
It's not "light yellow" "yellow # 23a" or something, it's gotta be "bannana yellow" "yellow chiffon pie" and it's no longer just "green" or "light green" it's something stupid like "Mint julip."
I don't want to paint with food any more, go back to "light yellow" and "medium green"!!!

You girls certainly have that gift of patience for painting. And I think I'm qualified to say that most guys have the attention span of a natt when it comes painting. Evident by the post on this subject. I proudly include myself.
"Painting Mommies" are superhuman! And we appreciate every thing you do. Happy Mother's Day in advance.
