I like you, and I'm always thinking of you, Le... er, uh... Lea. No, I mean Leua... er Leah. Yeah, THAT"S it, Leah!

And Bud, it seems they expect only top shelf from a pro. A bummer, but when you're good, you're also a role model.

That's OUR job as moderators. You're only asked to report them, not engage them. Why lower yourself to their level? Let US do that!

"What you talkin' 'bout Willis?" Many of them aren't smart enough to be morons.

But it's fun. This place gets a little boring sometimes. Have you ever noticed that when I get in the most trouble around here is usually when there aren't any "tile threads" active? Or, when I'm pissed at my wife - but you wouldn't know about that! Or when that idiot (my opinion) Mike Holmes name comes up.

Funny little story:
I was having lunch one day with my attorney in preparation of filing a lawsuit against a doctor's wife that owed me money. My attorney told me to first write her a letter but don't do what I usually do and say something slanderous and/or stupid. (He knows me well.) He told me that if I just couldn't hold my comments there was a certain way to say what I had to say without prejudicing my case and at the same time getting it off my chest.

He said don't tell her in your letter; "I think you are a F-ing wombat".
Instead, say that "In my opinion I think you are a F-ing wombat.

This way I could satisfy my urges and not get sued for slander.

I sent the letter to her Certified and Return Receipt Requested and had my money three days later. She sent me a check, but she also sent me a letter of her own. Laughed my damn a$$ off, man she unloaded on me worse than I ever thought of dumping on her. Three full pages single-spaced hand written, I could smell the smoke! The check was good too! I love it when I piss people off. That's why I like going toe to toe with some of the hot-heads that come here. They are so friggen easy to piss off and I know they are sitting at home beating their dogs when I get them going.

I know...I have a warped sense of humor, but, keep in mind I have been dealing with the public now for fifty-five years or more and I'm sick of 'em all, sick just sick of 'em.

Bud- similarly don't tell a cop to %-himself. But you can call him an %'n pig.

So long as it's not an action verb, you are A-OK.

Honestly, the most I'm willing to say is usually 'Google it yourself'. I just lack your internal honesty. Must be the chick in me.......

WillieT - you know I <3, baby. I read nearly all of your posts and learn lots and lots.

And Mods - You ALL ROCK.

And, while we are not on the subject I have a project for remodeling my house and want to know how much it costs and how to find a contractor...

Man I got some good laughs out of this thread.

I guess the main thing that gets under my skin a little is when some of us go to length to explain how to do something and the poster never says anything else or don't make any more posts at all.

Beats me!
I think the thing was, not only was I going to send her a certified letter I also was sending a copy to her husband's office (addressed to him of course). Knowing that most all doctors are much much too important to be opening their own mail I suspect that could be a reason to step cautiously. Hey that advice cost me the price of lunch and now you have it for free. What can I say?

In my family, my wife is the one you don't want to mess with. A prominant local attorney owed me $40. My wife called his office and asked for the money 5-6 times a day, every day. Took about a month, but he finally paid.

...and another thing ! ! !

These people that come here for free and ask a question they don't have an answer to, and expect an answer that is also free of cost to them, then get pissed when people respond with their own opinions but it isn't what the OP wants to hear really piss me off. They are idiots. Idiots idiots idiots. They couldn't pour water from a cowboy boot if the instructions were printed on the heel of the boot.

I tend to fall off the edge from time to time when those people begin to slam valued regulars here. I just want to reach through my computer screen and slap the degenerates. Idiots!

Then to make matters worse after they become rude to well meaning regulars here because the answers offered aren't what they want to hear then they want rules to apply to protect them from their idiocy. Idiots, they are idiots.

If I were a Moderator here I would tell them so. OH WAIT! I already did that.

Then...there are those that come here and say "Here's what I'm going to do, what do you think?" They actually start off asking for someones opinion.

They have somehow conjured up some ridiculous scheme to try to make a palace out of their double-wide trailer and when you tell them their idea wouldn't be the proper way to achieve the end they desire, they want to slam anyone that knows the reality of the junket they have perceived in their little minds. They say; " I don't want to hear that crap." "If it won't work then tell me why it won't work!"

Yow-right! I'm gonna spend my time writing you a book of many pages explaining why you are stupid you idiot you. Idiot!
