What type of home decor do you prefer?

Do you like traditional? Modern? Country?

I definitely prefer a country cabin style...

What Type Of Home Decor Do You Prefer?

If I had my way I'd be surrounded in logs, big timber beams and hand forged hardware.

Steampunk.

Actually, most anything except the ultra-modern stuff. Not enough character for me.

We love the country look, we do not like sheet rock at all.

I prefer stone walls and hieroglyphs.

And a big rock that I roll in front of the entrance to keep the unwanted visitors out.

It's one of those "can't explain it, but I know it when I see it" things.

Definitely eclectic. Traditional in a way, but not Grandma.

I do agree with Mort. Can't stand the modern, low backed, uncomfortable stuff.

Comfort is as important to me as style.

Edited to add: And unique. Gotta be unique. I'll take a dented up flea market find over Wal-mart mass produced crap anyday.

I could be quite comfortable in a stone castle.....

A common theme I see above....I think we all like 'natural' walls....stone or wood....

If I could pick the perfect style....I want houses that Tom Cruise had in Oblivion. Loved the glass walled 'condo in the sky' with the glass bottom pool.....and loved his little open air cabin by the pond....I watch that movie just for those scenes....that and his girlfriend jumping into the pool.....
