What other forums do you post in, non DIY related?

I myself fancy bodybuilding/powerlifting forums (wannabebig is where it's at!), and love reading contractortalk (although I can't post there, cuz I'm not a contractor :(

Also, exotic animal sites, specifically saltwater predators (grimreefers.com, reefcentral.com, etc)

What non-DIY stuff do you guys peruse?

I visit a V-star site every now and then.

we should probably post what the forums are about, so people don't need to actually visit them to get an idea what someone means.

'thatoneguy', i see you have the older rx7, the one i was referring to before was the newer one, dunno much about that kind. He has the 'fast and furious' featured one (vin diesel style!)

I'm not sure what you were referring to, I never saw anything about an rx7 here. I have a 2nd gen rx7, the 3rd gen is the twin turbo bad boy. They stoped making them in the states in 97'. I have a Rotary BBQ tommorow to attend. 1 1st gen 20 2nd gen and 1 3rd gen. I hate the fast and furious lol.

Ok, treo palm thread:laughing: Looked here first so I had no clue what rx7 you were talking about. It all makes sense now lol.

I am a prolific poster at The High Road, The Firing Line , Club1911 and Florida Shooters Network all gun related sites
I also frequent a site or two that are best not talked about in mixed company.

ya me too, kept my public relations ok'd sites in the list only haha. I like it down here in FL (just moved here earlier this year), the gun laws are sooo much better! I had full permits up north, but they were a pain to get (training course, interview, etc). Here you can just buy whatever you want, it's waaay different. I haven't found any cool outdoor ranges yet tho, just expensive indoor ones.

What do you shoot? (besides your 1911)

ocoee 06-01-2007 04:48 PM

Right now I have about 50 but I mostly stick to the .22s because I can shoot them on my mother's property

What area are you in
We have a few good outdoor ranges in Central Fl

If I told you my THR and TFL name you wouldn't like me
But at Club 1911 I'm Bugman

joeyboy 06-01-2007 06:09 PM

If you know any good outdoor ranges in the Pasco county area, maybe northern pinelllas, or west hillsborough/pasco areas that would be cool. I'm shooting a 12gauge mossberg pump and a 45 ruger.

joeyboy 06-01-2007 06:10 PM

check pm's ocee

ocoee 06-01-2007 08:16 PM

Don't know of any in that area yet Polk county is as far as I go that way on a regular basis.

I have a few 12 ga
I can never understand how I could be fair with a pistol, deadly accurate with a rifle and the worst shot you have ever seen with a shotgun.
I can barely hit a stationary target at 20 yards

I can't post PMs yet but they call me Joab the Bugman, and no one has figured it out yet

I post on about 4 other forums, I'll go ahead and get ready for the stereotype flinging. Try not to read too much into me solely based on the forums I frequent.

M&P forum - dedicated to the S&W M&P pistols

thehighroad.org - firearms, tactics, and activism

layitlow.com - lowrider forum

1911 forum - dedicated to my favorite pistol design, the 1911

I tried to join a drum forum which would have been great (been playing since I was 9) but my registration never would work out.

I'm surprised to see other firearm enthusiasts here. Cool.
