Wanting to invite a Mouse to a new Home

The evening was wonderful and I snapped a couple of pics of the backyard. This would be a perfect place for a Mouse, Dangerious as he may be, to come for the fall, by winter you are GONE!!!!!!!!!!

Please note the vacancy sign and the shower area!!!!!!!

And this is the neighborhood, Hope you like it.

Just trying to get captions between pics as someone was so nice as to post a how to. I am seeing if it works.

You are still invited.

Darn If I knew you had a vacancy I would have dropped off a small skunk I had just released from a live trap from one of my customerís houses last week.
It is a nice yard for a mouse, skunk or even persons.

Hit the edit button. put the cursor just outside the lower right hand corner of first pict, then try hitting enter. see if that puts the cursor between the two picts. if so start typing

insert caption here

Nice work! I love the way that turned out.

To place text between the pictures, first you'll have to click on 'manage attachments' and delete the pictures you've uploaded .

Then, sorry about this, upload them again.

Now, when you are typing in the text of your message and want to put a picture in, click the 'enter' key on your keyboard to put the cursor all the way to the left side of the page.

Then, click on the little paperclip up above where you are typing. A window will drop down with the list of pictures you uploaded. Click on the one you want. The picture itself won't appear, but some words will show up and when you submit your reply, the picture will show up in your post.

If you want to post more than one pic, click your 'enter' button 2 times to leave space between your pictures or between your text and a picture. Then click on the little paper clip again and click on the next picture you want in your post. This way, if or when you want to add captions or text between the pictures, you have space. You'll be able to edit the text without affecting the pictures.

I sure hope this makes sense. If not, let me know. Good luck!

Barb

OK, that explains the differance. I have never actually uploaded picts to DIYchatroom. I either just link to existing picts on the web using the insert image button, or i upload them to photobucket and then link to them using the insert image button. After reading the above, i think I'll continue doing it that way!!

Starting out fresh, a person wouldn't have to delete and reload their pictures. I wrote that because she already had the pics posted.

I may not have explained it very well, but using the paper clip is really very quick and easy once you've done it a time or two. Doing it this way gives you the ability to place the pics where you want them to be in the post and to add or delete text between them.
