Vulture Chicks!

I think some of you have figured out I have weird neighbors. I never dreamed of being able to live where I do but if I walk just a few steps I end up in one of America's free zoos. Of course I toss little children over the fences and for the lions to eat.

Anyhow I thought you might like the photo of the latest Vulture Chick to captivate my attention. Apparently she has a a heart murmur and was abandoned. She is gaining weight and you must admit, for a chick? Good veterinary plastic surgeon and a little beak work? She will grow up to look alright I think.

I just hope that unlike Vulture Chicks I have known before, she does not squalk too much.

Vulture Chicks!

Actually, Vultures serve a very important function in the eco system....where ants clean up the small stuff....they take care of the big stuff......I think they are interesting birds.....

One of my more fond memories of them...

"What do you want to do?"
"I don't know, what do you want to do?"
"I don't know, what do you want to do?"
"I don't know, what do you want to do?"
"I don't know, what do you want to do?"

I dare not ask what you were expecting because I skate on thin ice with moderators. Was thinking of sending you another copper roof photo though. You will love that this one almost got stolen.

My friends in Chimpanzee-Banana find themselves with a flock of hawks at the moment. They are apparently patterning and learning from the squirrels. They may never learn to hunt. They fly up into the many trees only when forced to do so. Scared by a rabbit or a cat (CU has one of the largest ferile cat populations in the US. College kids graduate and think nothing of letting their pets loose!)?
