Vote! And Don't Send More Money!
A week or so ago, the John Stewart show suggested the mantra, "For the Love of God! Please Let it Be Over!"
My mind as far as most I will vote for next Tuesday has not changed in months but total disgust has filled my heart. Yet I get about 500,000 emails for money and a vote every day!
I just looked. It is estimated the total amount spent on 2012 elections now exceeds $5.8 Billion bucks. I did residential restorations but I promise you I could build a school for 1 percent of that. And the total makes me question the economic desperation any candidates preach as rather shallow. A real economy in trouble does not spend that kind of money on politicians?
I vote next Tuesday on the first floor of the building I live in. I have just had so much of all the nonsense from both sides if I didn't have a reason to go downstairs I might skip it? But then I realize I would join the usual US voter population of less than 40 percent or so bothering to vote but 60 percent complaining and whining.
I don't care your leanings. But please take a few minutes and vote next Tuesday. It is important. I have some friends in countries where it is a risk of life with results known before voting starts. Sometimes voter turnout tops 70 percent though.
DON'T VOTE! DON'T COMPLAIN!
If you really want to send a shock wave, join the movement that will soon send postcards to your senators and congressman. Simple message.
"Think we should talk about campaign spending limits yet?"
Good news is the hair and nails journalists, and their media outlets Faux News, and commy pinko leftwing have done really well in this.
