Ugly Homes Wanted

If you see this ad---look away. It reads FOR TELEVISION PROGRAM In This Area. The area being the greater Philadelphia, N.J. area. We need 30 ugly homes with ugly Kitchens, Bathrooms, Siding, Windows, etc.

We will repair and remodel them and shoot video for training film and feature TV show on HomeRemodeling work. Must sign release

The ad goes on and gives a phone no. A man using a Landmark Builders card comes and tells you that they will film the remodel and train others from the film. He even says this is a governt grant.

NOT TRUE THE PEOPLE HE SUBCONTRACTS TO DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH, THEY MAY BE IN TRAINING. He will tell you that the job is done at 50% off. So I did this and I paid $15,000 for what a $30,000 bathroom. Check out my post for COURT OR CUT MY LOSSES to get a bigger idea how crooked these guys are!!!

Ugly Homes Wanted

So today I was looking in the Star Ledger, and saw the ad you are referring to. After I called I realized somethings didn't make sense, and decided to google the title of the ad and found this thread. I am happy this post is around because now I won't be a victim. I also googled the phone number they advertised and found that they are also particpating in other business activites. On this flyer they mentioned the address where they are located. Hopefully this will help you.

Thank you , I actually was given this newspapers ad for UGLY HOMES WANTED by my sister the week berfore Easter week. I called and set an appointment with a guy who said he was With LANDMARK BUILDERS, and just as you said in your posting... He mentioned the gov't grants and 50% off and the TV Show. So I set an appt for Today at 11:00am they never showed .. Thank you for saving me $$, as I do not have alot of it and I have been so desperatly looking to renovate my kitchen for several years now and the $$ was holding me back .. It's the old saying "If it sounds to good to be true. IT IS . Thank you and I will post this on my face book as well for others to be aware. Doreen NJ
