Ugh

I will be so glad when the upcoming election is over and these *@#?& political ads will go away!! I know the ads on here help keep the site going, but criminy!!

Personally I can think of no bigger waste of money than to give my hard earned dollars to a political candidate's war chest just so they can go to Washington...and figure out a way to take even more of my hard earned dollars.

I'm done...anyone else wanna borrow my soapbox??

Yeah i'll borrow your soapbox for a minute....

I'm not sure what it's like where you are, bu around here negative advertising is the name of the game. If 1000 ads are on tv then 999 are negative ads. I would pay money to run into one of these guys in the street just so I can say:

"I just want to make sure I understand your ad correctly..... what you are saying is that I should vote for you because the other guy did x, y and z right? So basically what you are saying is that you cannot come up with a SINGLE reason why I should actually vote for YOU, you just have reasons why I shouldn't vote for the other guy"

It's the same way around here! But unfortunately the negative ads work in a lot of places.

I'm really curious what will happen this November. This could be the strongest "throw the bums out!" feeling I've ever noticed in an election!

Ha! Randomness. I just ran out to Starbucks and who's sitting there? The R candidate for senator. Even though the ads annoy me I felt all starstruck

Dude!! That was your big chance!! You could have asked him a hardball question and that could have been your "Joe the Plumber" moment in the spotlight!!

Last time I went to Starbucks here, I ran into Dave Chappelle.

It's Linda McMahon. If I asked her a question she didn't like she would have probably powerbombed me

I can change channels or stations---the Tellephone calls are what I hate
Too bad we have to pay our phone bill and have to put up with these "allowed" calls.
I received NINE political calls from the same number yesterday. I am on the DNC list and I finally had to put a block on this number to stop.
Absolutely rediculous

Isn't it nice of the government to exempt themselves from the DNC list??
