Traditional building show Baltimore, MD this weekend

This weekend (actually starting tomorrow, OCT 21) The Traditional Building Exhibition and Conference is in Baltimore Maryland, at the Baltimore Convention Center. http://www.traditionalbuildingshow.com/index.shtml

I'm going Fri and Sat to catch workshops and to check out the exhibits.

Friday's workshops were a mixed bag.
- Paint analysis was interesting - Wow some historic palettes were AWFUL! -

- kitchen design was a weak presentation, unless you love arts and crafts.

-Care and Maintenance of historic finishes over wood had lots of cautionary tales and helpful hints. But it also had a presenter who told the following joke and then laughed 'tung oil is fine for ax handles and danish modern furniture Do I just not get it? Is that funny?

Exhibit hall was on the small side, but packed with specialty vendors

Getting up at 5:30 AM on a Saturday to get there before 8 for 'The Restoration & Weatherization of Window Frames & Sash' - so I should probably go to bed.
