"it takes some Legos to build a village "

http://schansblog.blogspot.com/2008/...d-village.html

I thought this was kind of cool

Quote:
"Combining art, plastic toys, and civic improvement", Jan Vormann helped lead a team of artists and enthusiasts to patch gaps and holes in the walls of a small village outside of Rome [Bocchignano] with brightly-colored Lego construction toys....[He] hopes to complete similar projects in three other Italian villages.

Btw, that's not any form of attack on you, Snav. I just don't see any art in that at all. To me it looks like some sort of graffiti gone awry, applied by a blind person perhaps..?

I would move far, far away from a city that employed that.

To each their own! I'm not offended at all. It's like modern art or abstract art Some hate it - some love it.

I was actually cruising the net looking for art from a guy who drew his childhood Italian home/village from memory decades after moving away. Still can't find it - it was neat though.
